Description
Mod works but is still unranked. Whitelist request has been sent. I'm not currently planning on developing it. Just leaving it up for people who are still using it.



Summary
Brutus ServerAds ServerActor (original from FZFalzar) let's you display customisable server messages.

Installation
This is a ServerActor and has to be added in the server config instead of the start parameters (not like loading mutators). See readme on GitHub or refer to the forum thread[forums.tripwireinteractive.com] for help and instructions. Subscribing to this mutator will save you the process of recompiling and/or reuploading the BRTSServerAds.u file. You can subscribe directly to get the .u file or subscribe with your server to automate the process. Instructions on how to subscribe your server to Steam Workshop can be found here[wiki.tripwireinteractive.com].

If you find any issues or have requests open a new GitHub issue. If you need support please refer to the official thread. I will try to keep this item up to date but I have to do it manually (I do not have a build pipeline for this). So if you see a working version with new features on GitHub that isn't here in the Steam Workshop yet, just let me know and I will update it. If you are interested on helping to maintain this item let me know. If you want to improve the code feel free to fork it on GitHub and make pull requests.

ClientMessage(sMsg, 'FFFFFF') seems invalid code, second value is "Type"
it displayed in blue in game due to conflicts with other mod.
if remove it. the output normally in white.

A while ago I saw a nice chat bot that uses the webinterface of your KF2 server:

The up sides are: no unranking, multiple KF2 servers, no mod needed, loads of functionality
The down side: it has to run on a server (in docker) or on your PC

I don't know, don't have a server or local setup anymore to test it with other players. The version the workshop uses worked (but that was in 2019 and I tested only locally). Not really planning on continuing it. I only left it online in case someone is using it.

Ohh.. 1.0.0 being the version where you get messages from the player instead of the system (in white text)?

Oh sorry v1.0 is same issue, my previous version is more old version.
maybe it's a conflict by other mod?.. but v1.0 is invisible in webconsole

Yeah, sry, didn't see that solo. I'll try to check if I can test it with fake player mutator or something. I will roll it back for now and update soon. If your server uses workshop subscription it should download it automatically. If not, you can get it from GitHub [github.com]
