So what does this mod do? The obvious thing an ideal music mod should do, which nobody did so I did it myself. Make different eras for music like EU2, play historical music like EU2, (or a civ game) and take advantage of what capabilities the contextual music system has to weigh what plays by culture, and if the country is at war. So now you can experience harpsichords evolving to pianos just as your matchlocks evolve into flintlocks or whatever. Currently totally eurocentric, hence the title. It also should be compatible for ironman.

Eras of music:

Medieval: Start - 1500
Renaissance: 1500 - 1600
Baroque: 1600 - 1700
Classical: 1700 - End

I use a mix of weights which play for everyone with a probability, and locking songs to a peace or war state if the song is especially warlike (a march) or peaceful (a pastoral). Some songs have no culture weight, like the pieces from the Carmina Burana which are primarily medieval latin. Most songs belong to five culture groups: French, Germanic, Latin, British and Iberian.

A couple suggestions for using the mod. To avoid bouncing between period and Wadletoft's music, I overwrite the music in the vanilla game, and recommend disabling DLC music as well. I've tried not overwriting it before, and think this way is best. Finally I also set the volume slider for music to around 50%.
