HALO-UNSC-Pelican

Designed to bring the Halo UNSC D77-TC Pelican to Empyrion, this vessel can bring an entire assault team in one piece or extract one while under fire.

This military craft can take a beating, still capable of flight missing an entire wing or tail. Triple thick armor coats the troop bay belly and double thick across the entire floor with critical systems distributed through SV to minimize chain detonation and increase survivability.

Though only armed with the pelican’s stock armament of a machine gun under the pilot there are many mounting points on the wing tips and the upper wings next to the fuselage.

The Pelican also includes multiple constructors and generous cargo racks overhead. Generous all around lighting from spots means that night operations are no hindrance.

Warp drive not included, but strapping one to the tail, as done in Halo reach operation uppercut, can be done. (And it looks just as kludgy as in game)

Note: that this is based on the general purpose Pelican as shown in Halo: Combat Evolved (not the D77H-TCI of later games) and the lack of 12 man seating is a reflection of that.
