Report a translation problem
This is a good effort regardless, and you obviously love your craft. Sorry about the language barrier, it can be tough dealing with that shit. Did you make this game with just English from the start, or did you translate EVERYTHING to English? Either way, that's some dedication. Good on you.
Hope this helps! Later <3
The party-selection thing was cool though! I liked that. But at the start, give some not-so-tough enemies, so the player gets a feel for the character-abilities. Then throw something moderately difficult, to then TEST the player's knowledge of the abilities.
I went into the game file and checked the stats for the Seer, and holy fuck, that Def was too high. None of the characters (other than Kitty, which was fucking hilarious by the way) could do much to the seer. Meanwhile, the Seer is doing like 170 damage a hit! And when the yget low, they do THREE attacks! That mother fucker can one-shot Tanya! That's really insane for the start of the game. I highly recommend toning it down a bit.
One, is a custom window. It's super, suuuuperr easy to do. Just go download one off a google search, move the file into the projects folder > IMP > System, and replace the old window file. Bam. Instant uniqueness! There's tones for this steampunk styyle, too.
Also, please god change that sound effect when you select something. The DDSHHH, like I'm hitting some dude, sounds way out of place. Maybe with a quick, highh pitched magic sound, since it's steampunk stuff? Or just the default is fine, too. The beginning is REALLY hard. After looking around, spamming the enter key for some gold, I get thrown into some brutal ass fights.
