During the Monday Night Wars, WCW had the nWo, stars like Sting and DDP, and a new young star named Bill Goldberg. Goldberg's streak of 173 consecutive wins made him a major star in the wrestling business, and fans kept wondering "Who's Next?"

Goldberg would go on to defeat Hollywood Hogan to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title inside the Georgia Dome in July 1998, then hold onto the belt until suffering his first loss at the hands of Kevin Nash (and Scott Hall's stun gun) at Starrcade later that year.

After WCW, Goldberg signed with WWE in 2003, capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship one time from Triple H. Goldberg left the company after Wrestlemania XX, in which both he and his opponent, Brock Lesnar, were booed as the crowd knew both men would be leaving after the match.

Goldberg made a return to the ring in 2016 to renew his rivalry with Lesnar, shocking the world by defeating Lesnar quickly, even at age 49. Goldberg would eliminate Lesnar in the Royal Rumble before Lesnar got his revenge (and Goldberg's newly won Universal Title) at Wrestlemania 33.
