Harder Final Battle

This is a pretty simple mod - I just doubled the amount of units the AI gets for when you win the Vortex race and for if you lose the race. (Or at least, I'm pretty sure I did on the latter - I didn't have a save to check, but the battle does definitely change if you win the race.) I won on the first try with this with a mostly top-tier army on Normal and had about 7 cards left by the end of it as Lizardmen, but I bet it's pretty difficult on Legendary.
