Block Fort

Description
My first worthwhile something, a remake of everyone's favorite MK64 and MKDS battle arena, Block Fort! (It is in 2 player mode, beware, maybe I'll upload a "SINGLE PLAYER EDITION!" if you ask me enougth, but a quit escape to F1 should let you delete Luigi or Mario, remember to spawn a regular rabit at it's place to still have 8 rabbits on the field.)

To do list:

Change the Skybox to one that looks more like the MK64 one.
Turn this into a proper arena game mode map.
Change the musics to Mario Kart ones.
Include your feedback.
Making other map to accompany this one.

@Pajama Wrestler It's in the options, there is a box to check that sais something like "enable screen splitting during multiplayer". That might not be the exact name but look for it, it will also help with the coop maps as not all two players maps are 1V1 arenas.

I think it's pretty sad how Nintendo didn't make DLC maps for MK8DX, it joined MKDD and MK64 for being the games with the least battle maps.

I still wich for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to get a Mario Odyssey DLC.

(I think the spikes are cool too, the box around them in editor is a bit confusingly huge tho.)

3 things, I sat the navmesh to be the most precise, there was no jumpnodes added, there was no spike in this map on the Nintendo 64, nor the Nintendo DS, but that doesn't mean there wont be in my next maps.

True, it do get pretty easy to spot the pattern.. But in my version they only jump down, or maybe I has not yet seen it :) If that is the case then I have no suggestion besides spikes coz they rule ;)

On my PC they do go up and down, they just don't jump. I thought about adding jump nodes, but seeing how often they want to use it and how predictible it makes them, I really wonder if it's a good idea.

Me and my friend just played it, and I think you should add some nav connections for the ai to use and make it so the can get up and down :)

But beside that a really nice map for making arena levels with different characters :)
