Innsmouth Case

Description
Something evil stirs in Innsmouth my friend, all my previous investigators never came back from that wretched place and now again I am in need of you, you’re special skills, your sharp mind and your vigor and brute strength, if it comes to that. Travel safe and keep me in the loop. This might be the worst one.
There are signs in the sky that the great awaking will happen. You MUST prevent it!

Innsmouth Case is a cooperative card game for up to 4 players.

Each player will choose his investigator and try to prevent an awaking of an old god.

For that players must use their clue cards in 4 different colors: green for knowledge, blue for willpower, red for strength and yellow for lore. Using these cards in correct numbers you will be able to activate special abilities of the locations you have to investigate, gather clues and relics and fight the monsters.

Game Setup:

- Either randomly draw or choose your investigator
- Add a die of his skill color onto his character card (every skill die bonus starts from 2)
- Shuffle the clue cards and deal to each player until they have cards of only 2 different colors (so it is possible to have 3 cards of red and one of blue) Every player can hold in his hands only up to 2 colors of cards, but it can be various number of the same color
- Shuffle the Monsters and Relics decks and add 7 random Monsters and x random Relics (x = number of players) into the Clue deck, then shuffle all of those cards and form 3 decks that must have same or almost same number of cards. Place those decks beside every row of location spots.
- Shuffle the Location cards and deal them from the bottom, placing them from left to right and from top to bottom, filling all the location spots on the table
- Then shuffle the Mythos deck and pull random 8 cards from it, place that deck close to the Cthulhu card
- Then each player can place his little portrait token on the Location space that has a shroud color that corresponds to his skill die (players can choose if more than one spot is available)

You can start the game.

Each turn players can do 2 actions, and they can do same action twice
Those Actions are:

1. Move - from one location card to another adjacent location card
2. Search through Location - take one card from the deck that is in the same row as the location you are searching
2. Share the knowledge - give one clue, investigation token or relic card to another investigator on your location
3. Investigate - use clue cards of the corresponding color that are of equal or greater value than the shroud number of the location you are investigating
4. fight the monster - roll a d8 die against the monster on your location to beat its strength (equal or higher) and apply your skill die bonus to your result or add card values to that result if its of the same color as your skill die
5. Stop the awakening - use all tokens or clue cards to complete one task on the old one card (you can combine resources from another investigator on your location)

As always, if you are interested to learn and play this game, subscribe, friend me and I will be glad to spend some time to teach you how to play and explain all the rules of this game I have designed.

Honestly enjoyable, even though it can be challenging at times, it is a good type of challenge. Definitely recommend! Hi Bojan!

People sometimes search the internet looking for the rule books for these games I'm publishing in the workshop, to them: Every game I have posted in the workshop so far are of my own design (from art design to mechanics used) and therefore they dont have rule books.
But, I'm always willing to teach ppl to play them and to share my games. It's the closest thing I get to actual publishing.
