Nerfed Lone Wolf

Description
Reduces the AP Recovery and Maximum provided by Lone Wolf from to 1 (from 2), and the armor and vitality bonus to 15% (from 30%). Hard to say if this will really balance Lone Wolf out, but should help out at least a little. Should work fine on existing saves.

I subscribed, started DE, and it doesn't appear in my Mods list.
What am I missing?

Would be nice to see lone wolf scale up to parties of 3 again.

Yeah, I guess we'll have to wait for Larian to add the talent editing/adding feature to the modding tool for that one.

You're right its the added stats/abilities which are really the problem, but I don't think that can be changed. The AP and armor/vitality bonuses are the only exposed variables I know of. Probably some kind of change could be scripted on top of Lone Wolf, but I was just going for a quick fix, at least for now.

Purely my opinion, but I think (double) lone wolves work so well because of how much they benefit from stat doubling - from 200% to 350% damage boosting from attributes alone once maxed with the same investment, insane versatility in skill choices for minimal combat ability investment, vitality buff + constitution doubling, attribute & combat abilities cap bypass, all of that making them scale too well the more you progress into the game...

By nerfing armor & magic armor buffs, you make LW teams more vulnerable to CCs, especially early game when they don't have a lot of armor to begin with, and don't have the numbers to divide aggro. Also, 1 AP doesn't compensate 4 AP from a third party member as well as 2 AP.

Instead, if you're not sure if this mod will rebalance LW like you hoped, I'd suggest completely removing invested points doubling, adding a final damage multiplier of around 20%~25%, and keeping buffs for max/regen AP and defensive boosts unchanged.

@Arren I play Lone wolf exclusively on Tactician and Honor mode. Lone wolf is EEEEEASILY stronger than a 4 man party if you understand how to play the game correctly. Use your brain, visit the forums and learn how to become better if you cant grasp the concept of how game mechanics favor the current setup for LW.

@OP Sorry for argument in mod thread. People should subscribe to mods they are interested in and not use it as an opportunity to whine and discourage the creators bringing us new free content.

I have seen numerous people complain that Lone Wolf trivializes the game. Some people want to play double Lone Wolf, and I suppose the existing numbers are just too much. If you like existing Lone Wolf, don't subscribe. It's less work than leaving a snarky comment ;)

@Alexei Stukov, if you think it's OP.. play it on a harder difficulty lmao

or how about playing solo with lone wolf instead of getting another ally. Use your brain before calling us ignorants

Dont listen to the ignorant people who either havent seen how OP lone wolf is or just dont care for realistic balance.

In D:OS 1 a Lonewolf party was fun because it wasnt easier than a 4 man party.

Why would you nerf it? It's powerful to make up for the fact you lose out on 2 party members for the talent
