(WOTC) Starting Soldiers

Description
Tired of reimporting your character customization every campaign?
This mod lets you start a campaign with certain characters from your character pool.

An updated version of Grimy's Starting Soldiers mod.

It also lets you give those soldiers a higher rank and a certain class if you want, just make the appropriate changes via INI. (XComStartingSoldiers.ini)

No class overrides. (Re-coded from the original which had overridden 'XComGameState_HeadquartersXCom'.)

@Daddy Takeda - Your first 4 soldiers in the list will always be on the initial mission.

So, I just want to set my first 4 soldier for the first mission, and not touch anything else. Does this mod do that? The way I understand it, this mod allow you to spawn character pool into your barrack at game start, which sound redundant since you can already do this. So I'm guessing there's a language barrier and I'm misunderstanding what the description is trying to explain.

Basically in the rows with the "+" signs change the name to the exact first and last name of your soldiers. Make certain they are the correct soldier type. For instance if I want to recruit Jacoby Falcon (a soldier in my pool) then I need to make sure that he is a Templar (because he is in my pool) and his rank needs to be at least 1. Regular soldiers can be Rank 0-6. If I tried to recruit him as a Reaper it wouldn't work because he's a Templar in my pool.

And there is a typo at the bottom of the .ini that needs to be fixed. Where it says
; Set to true if you want the starting soldiers to be removed
+bRemoveStartingSoldiers=true

add a ; so that it reads
; Set to true if you want the starting soldiers to be removed
+bRemoveStartingSoldiers=true;

I just wanted to say that I just tried this mod out and it worked exactly the way it was supposed to. I wanted 12 characters from my pool. That's what I got. The first four were the soldiers I had on my first mission (one messed up because I accidentally put the wrong last name and that was my fault). The rest appeared in my barracks, including a Templar.

Why is it randomizing the characters than using the ones from my character pool?

Hi. I'm having an issue where I can't acsess any of the soldiers i start with in Gatecrasher or able to acsess any soldier past the rank of rookie in subsequent missions. Any help is appreciated.

I have a problem happening
I'm trying to put 40 soldiers in the barracks, but it doesn't work.
I'm using the mod to increase the squad in a mission to 7, and the only ones in the barracks are the 7 soldiers I start the mission with.
I'm trying to put 10 recruits, 10 reapers, 10 skirmishers and 10 templars, but I don't know how to make it work... does anyone have any tips?

In the initial mission I always start with 1 of each class, and in the file I put the first 10 as the recruits, then the reapers, templars and skirmishers

Never mind. It works with normal soldiers, it's just very specifically my Proxian that doesn't want to use my character pool one and gets randomized.

Is it possible to use this to load soldiers with surnames that contain more than one word? For example "Manolo de la Vega". Seems to me like it can't.
