Beskrivning
This mod Adds Tough fights, in previously empty areas : you are not safe anymore!


If like me, you really enjoy the Combat system of DoS 2 and want to fight more, this mod is made for you.
When a zone is too empty, this mod fills it with Hard Fights.
The ennemies will be the same as the ones you'd normally encounter in the area, to protect the zone's theme.


As this mod makes the player level faster, I advise you to also install "Combat XP Rebalanced" :

It lowers the XP gain when killing a monster, so you won't be over-leveled and power roll through the entire game.


This mod is fully compatible with my other mod "More Monsters' Spawns", which adds more ennemies of already existing combats :

Note: You don't need to restart the game, this mod is compatible with your current save.
The new fights are located in Act 1, and will be added to the other Acts in future updates.

Frequently Asked Questions :

- "This mod is too hard, I can't win any fight".
This mod is meant to be played in Classic difficulty or less, it's not balanced for Tactician.
For new players, I advise finishing Act 1 first, to better understand the game's mechanics, before installing this mod on a new playthrough.

- "Can you make a version of this mod which does X instead of Y?"
I'm currently working on multiple mods and don't have time for personnal requests, sorry.

- "When loading the mod for the first time, my game takes a long time to load".
This is normal, you'll have to wait up to 10 minutes, but it'll only happen once.

- "A new version of this mod just came out, how to get the new enemies to appear in my current save?"
1- save your game
2- disable this mod, in the main menu
3- load your game (might take some time)
4- save
5- reactivate this mod
6- load your game (might take some time)
Note : this will also make this mod's already defeated enemies respawn.

I wish there were more versions of this mod to give us some options of difficulty. Or maybe even a mod that just respawns previous areas with a new boss instead of the original for variety or something. I know this mod adds new spawns to an area if it's too empty and i'll see what that's like but meh i'd rather just be able to fight previous areas again for more XP and loot and stuff.

Ok, since you don't have the time and lost the original files, I'll look into porting the mod myself, since you have said you'd give someone else the permission to do so.
Although the Divinity Engine 2 currently has a bug and won't open so I'll have to wait for this to be fixed by the devs.

Porting to DE version is so easy! It wouldnn't take too much, other then the dev's attention. WHY, OH WHY MUST MUST THIS GLORIOUS MODDER BE DEAD? Modding is really hard, so I wouldn't be able to do it myself, and I don't know anyone who would, or could make it as good as this :[

I am still patiently waiting for someone to port this mod to the DE, because the game is just so much better with this mod and "More monster spawns". :czombie:
