Pet Battle Arena

Description
In Pet Battle Arena you have to weaken pets with your own
hands and once you capture a pet using a trap you fight
along side them in battle. Earn 4 tournament coins to
enter the Grand Pet Battle Tournament and prove your
prowess.

I have recently downloaded this and im picking it apart to help understand how to make this style game and to understand rpg maker more too. I was wondering how you did the tall grass battle encunters. I feel like im just missing something somewhere but im strugging figuring it out if you would be able to help it would be super rad. thank you for your help if its possible

Use whatever you like but check the code to know how to give credit to, since I borrowed code from other programmers as well.

It is definitely inspired by pokemon for sure. I just put a different twist on it that I thought players would enjoy. :)

You can have only 3 members in battle at a time but you can have any number of pets you like. If it is all working the way its supposed to. I've noticed at times while updating the game here on steam I need to double check things because it doesn't always update correctly.
