Cheat Chests

WARNING: Enabling mods disables achievements.

SECOND WARNING: There's an issue with mods which cause files to not update properly on saves when the mod is updated. Unfortunately that means that for any update I publish to actually work correctly for you, you need to start a new game. Please stop submitting comments saying chests are empty for you if it is not a brand new save game.

Also if you don't see the chests, bags, or NPC's, or if they don't have any of the items/gold, follow these instructions:

Step 1, Start the Divinity Original Sin 2.
Step 2, at the main menu, there is a button that says "Mods". Click it.
Step 3, In the "Mods" menu, click the box beside "Cheat Chests". Now there should be a checkmark there.
Step 4, click save/accept.
Step 5, Start a NEW game.
Step 6, Return to the comments section here and tell me how this time it worked.

THIRD WARNING: If you use any of the cheat items, and later decide to not use them anymore, everyone will literally hate and attack you. This is because the items increase your stats to the point where everyone loves you. The only resolution for this, is to either continue using the items, or start a new game without using the items.

A mod that adds loot chests, gold piles, and some OP items into the game.

[Update September 18]
Added 3 more pairs of gloves in the boat you start in.

Made the gloves much less OP (The belts are still really, really OP.) This seems to have fixed the unequip enemy companion bug, this bug was caused by the gloves making you so friendly with NPC's, that when you take them off they all literally hate your guts. There isn't much I can do about this on an existing save you have, but if there's enough demand I can add a ring that fixes your personality trait so everyone still loves you and that's all.

Fixed NPC dialog so it actually works now, I recommend buying cheat items from it so that it sorts everything neatly.

Added a bag with a crap load of gold, thus giving you 99999999 gold. It's at every location there used to be a chest!

Changed around some of the item stats in an attempt to re-create the issues.

If you don't want to always wear the equipment, then don't use it, and don't complain when you do and then change your mind and try to use the same save.

As it currently stands DOS2 is unplayable through Proton, whenever either the devs fix it to work with Linux, or Steam releases a Proton update so that it works with Linux this mod will be updated, but until then there isn't anything I can do.
