Ground Combat Vehicle / Pattern 2a

The Mark 2 series of Ground Combat Vehicles heavily armoured assault and transport vehicles, all equiped with a base armament of two fixed gatling guns and three gatling gun turrets, allowing it to fulfil it's primary anti-infantry and AA role.
The cockpit of the vechicles are buried behind a slab of heavy armour and each one is equiped with a remote control allowing the pilot to control it from a distance.

The Mark 2 series is also equiped with a parachute system, atmospheric thrusters and gyroscopes to allow the vehicle to perform better whilst crossing terrain. This setup also allows for the Mark 2s to be dropped from the orbit of Mars and similar planets to land on the surface unharmed, removing the need for a dropship.

The 2a is the first of the series, and can accomodate 2 passengers in the rear of the vehicle.
