Description
On August 21st, 2017 a total solar eclipse passed over the United States. Due to the amount of people wanting to travel to see the eclipse, Amtrak decided to run a special train from Chicago to Carbondale called the "Eclipse Express". The train sold out almost immediately. You will be taking this train on the first leg of it's journey from Chicago to Aurora. Have Fun!

The Chicago-Carbondale route trains only run until Halsted platform and then take the St Charles airline, that one bridge you pass over on the curve out of Chicago. The ones that go near Aurora is the Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandburg
