The Bestest Birthday Present Ever

Well, on your eighteenth birthday your dad bought you a Porsche 911 Carrera. Wow. Now it's your nineteenth birthday and he's taking you to lunch! There's got to be a catch! The two of you are flying in to Port Allen from Princeville, Kauai in order to get a burger, or maybe a reuben sandwich. A month ago you got your private pilot's license (aced the check ride), and have been getting some taildragger time in a friend's Super Cub. You quit the gang you were in (the Kalihi Boys) and now you're focused on working towards a career as a pilot. So, lunch it is. You're hoping it will be a good one!

When the mission starts you'll be in the air, on a very long left base for runway 9 at Port Allen. You'll want to throttle back and start descending right away, in order to get down to pattern altitude (about 1100 feet). Later in the mission, after passing over the mountains, you'll want to throttle back and descend once again, for arrival at Princeville.

I recommend using the mission compass (U) for this so that you don't miss any dialog. Try to hit all the waypoints as shown on the compass. Also, you will be in charge of adjusting your mixture control when you're over the mountains. Remember to go back to full rich for landing.
