well, idk eigther - but i actually use mods with classic SE blocks&style because the base game lags on my 8core/32gb ram machine without it! xP
(with other mods ofc, but also because i dislike those massive use of chrome effects on blocks in vanilla!)

I don't disagree that the LG model has significantly more polys than the original (somewhere between 2-3x the tris). I'm not sure how much impact on sim speed that would ultimately have, I can't only speak from my experience and haven't noticed any issues. That being said, this mod it due for an update. It's been somewhere around 4 years, a lot about SE has changed since then. Once I find a break from my current projects I'll invest some time updating some of these neglected mods.

@AViegarien without reducing the poly amount this will kill Simspeed! ;-)

Thanks for building this, man! It looks awesome! I love how you used the large-grid small reactor models instead of the existing small-grid small reactor models. They look nicer, I think, (in addition to having the oh-so-useful second conveyor port on them!)

can comfirm as 2021 STILL WORKING. Note however uses older Texture or puple sometimes.. at distance. but if its hidden who cares :D

Yep,tho I haven't updated either version of this mod to use PCU values yet, if that's a concern.

LOve this, I can Finaly Take my Old ship and update it, It used Phoenix's Mod but His always Crashes for me.

This uses the updated model. I loved Phoenix's mod, but the old reactor model looked a bit out of place. This version was made per a request that I seperate the dual conveyor to it's own block instead of replacing the vanilla reactor.

Why create something that already exists ?
