Description
Were you dissapointed with how the Outriders performed in the vanilla game? Maybe they felt a bit too weak, or maybe its because you've played Vermintide or Call of Warhammer?

Well, this mod tries to adress that.

Originally I was trying to get Outriders to fire a rapid 6-round burst, but, while I was able to get them to fire like that, the animation glitched out, and it basically looked like they were shooting out of their face.

Which is not cool, and is Heresy.

SO, I've made them fire basically like a shotgun. They fire 6 projectiles at a time, with a longer realod time to compensate. This means they can unleash a devestating volley, especially at close range, and then relocate and reload, and fire again.

If you've play Warhammer End Times: Vermintide, this is meant to emulate the Witch Hunter's repeater pistol (Which is what Outriders use in lore anyways, so it works)

I hope y'all enjoy. Give me some balance suggestions if you like, I kinda just threw this together because I wanted to add it to my main mod, but it seemed like a fun little feature that was worth uploading independantly.

Again, this will be part of my main mod, Total Warhammer Overhaul, which is still basically in Alpha, but it aims to totally revamp the game, in what I hope is a fairly unique way. More information can be found on the mod page itself

@Bjorn are you looking for randomized shoots as does the WE projectile cavalry or something more of a first line fire, second line fire ?

Ah, my misunderstanding. Thats not an effect of my mod, nor would I know how to implement that. I know Warscape is the same engine they've used since Empire, but I haven't seen true volley fire in either Rome or Attila, so idk if its possible to add back in.

I should clarify. I didn't mean the shotgun effect I meant that each rank in a unit would fire separately instead of at relatively the same time

I could, although there is no lore reason to do so. If anything else merits it, it would be the Master Engineer's Grude Raker, which is basically a lever action shotgun. So I could add that if people wanted.

Right now its set to 20 seconds, but unit expereince modifies that. If you have any suggestions on if that should be higher or not, let me know
