That's nothing to do with this mod. This mod only adds novakids to the random housing NPC generator; it doesn't touch anything else.
If it's really a bug (And not really strange random generation) you'll unfortunately have to check the other mods you have installed.
Novakids have villages, but not tenant villagers. This mod just added them to the collection of tenants, and gave a few other tenants (Like merchants) a chance to be Novakid as well.
Absolute worst case scenario Starbound will crash when you come near one of the novakids npctypes I wrote, but if you reinstalled and killed them then uninstall would work again.
With that being said, I would be extremely surprised if SB didn't just clear them upon load but I haven't tested that to be sure.
Tl;Dr probably, but if it's not just reinstall and your worlds will be intact.
