Firth of Forth - No Industry

Description
Aye!

This map is a quasi-realistic replica of the inner side estuary of river Forth, better known as Firth of Forth, located west of Edinburgh in Scotland, where the water is chrystal clear and the swans are swimming happily back and forth (ouch).
The task is to ruin the swans' fun by poisoning the area with dirty industry and leaking oil tankers as much as possible.

I've added only 3 factories to the map, two Oil Wells, and a Refinery, to get a head start on the devastation of this beautiful scenery.
To add further factories to fulfill your polluting needs, you'll have to download a mod that offers the possibility of placing down industry.
The map has the potential of using lots of ships and ferries in order to destroy all marine life in the estuary.

I highly recommend adding more forests to the map by using any suitable mods of such purpose.

The map is mostly flat, so it's quite easy to play, even while getting dizzy from overdoing any famous local alcohol brands.

Hope you enjoy!

This is a very well done map. Thanks to the author for creating it. With 7000+ hours invested in TF, I'm not easy to impress. My old i7-2600 handles this map with complete and comprehensive passenger transportation built throughout. I have complete food and fuel industry with distribution north of the firth in 1940, but I think if I add the south the machine will crawl to a halt as it will take lots and lots of trucks to distribute in the cities which are growing like there is no tomorrow. I managed to site 4 airports on the map with little trouble for regional transport, and I might just stop there with air.

@Bocaan - Did you mention Charles Dickens?

isnt this also a map in the campaigne like map 2/3 where you have to build a new bridge further down from the one that almost killed charles dickins when a freaky storm tore it apart and a train drank the filth of forth lol

Ah, the Filth of Forth, making water as golden as whisky. Thanks :steamhappy:

The Tay is impossible when it comes to placing airfields, though.

Whaddaya say about the Minch, which separates Ullapool from Stornoway?

@TheMasterNerd
Would be cool to have bridge models exactly like those ones, so placement could be done manually. :)

@Stena Britannica
There's one already, called Loch Tay. It's a bit more difficult though.
I'm also working on some more, one with islands and lots o' water, and one with mountains for real perverts.

Would be better if we had a Forth Bridge for the trains and a suspension bridge for the cars:steamhappy:
