The Google Trends Game

Description
Welcome to Google Trends! This game is all about search engine optimization. In short, the team with the highest counted most recent search term wins.

PLAYER COUNT:
Two teams. Any equal number of players on a team.

HOW TO PICK YOUR TEAMMATE(S):
You can just be civil and talk to each other. Or, I guess, you can just put yourself on a team and hope someone joins.

HOW TO PICK TEAMS:
Right-click your name in the upper-right corner and join the team you and your teammate(s) will be on together. You can use team text chat, if you don't want to give the other team ideas.

WHO GOES FIRST:
You decide! Consider flipping a coin or playing a game and see which team scores higher.

HOW TO USE TABLET:
Go to "trends.google.com", if it's not already. This will be where search terms entered and points will be awarded. Type something at the top of the webpage to get put on the proper page, which is the one with a graph and where you can edit or add search terms. Each team's search term goes in its own text field. You shouldn't need to scroll on the webpage.

HOW TO SCORE:
When in tablet mode, hover your cursor over the far right of the first line graph. Each team's respective number is added to their current score.

DRAWING A SUBJECT CARD:
At the start of the game, shuffle the deck. Each round, draw a single subject card for both teams to manipulate into asearch term. You can set it anywhere out of the way. Next round, draw another card on top of the previous card.

HOW TO MAKE A SEARCH TERM:
Draw a subject card and each team's search term has to have that phrase in it. You can change the phrase to better match your desired search term, however it must be reasonable and the root of the word must be kept. For example, the tense of the phrase (i.e. "-ing" or "-ed") to make it better suit the team's search term is allowable. Teams should agree on word legality rules either ahead of time or on a case-by-case basis. Teams can move the phrase anywhere in their search term. The search term can be as many words as desired by each team. Once everyone on the team agrees with the search term, then the team going first must announce their search term. If the second team's search term is the same as the first team's search term, then the second team must agree on a new search term.

WHEN IT'S OVER:
The game is over when either a team earns a total of 500 points or there are no more subject cards.

WHAT ABOUT RULES NOT NOTED HERE:
I don't know, decide what to do. /shrug

WHERE DID YOU GET THIS GAME IDEA:
Ah, well, I made this game based off a YouTube channel, known as Funhaus, video series. Here's a list to their playlist of Google Trends: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbIc1971kgPCjKm56j_tNsetBn3PA5GaY
