No Division Spam (40w)

In 1 collection by Buffalo444
HOI4 Division Spam Reduction Options
6 items
Description
This mod changes the target division template size to the listed width in the title (40 only atm).
This reduces division spam, thus reducing late game lag. No more SOV, GER, USA or ♥♥♥ with 2k divisions in the field.

The mod cuts down on division spam significantly, but the AI might need a bit of help early on (sliders) if it is a major power engaged in multi front or long front wars (Germany, Italy, Japan). As of right now, I would suggest this variant the most, without considering my other mod (B.A.A.T.) if compatibility is an issue.

Update: Armored divisions are 40 width now. This will lower the number of armored divisions the AI fields, but the improved frontline AI should be able to handle that now

Update: The 30 and 35 width variants are currently discontinued. This is so I can focus on the WIP mod with a TBD release date with the goal to have the AI work through different template sizes based on a number of factors. Stay tuned.

Please rate if you like this mod. If not, lag out, see if I care.

Anyway, thanks for the mod. With some changes in .mod file: replace_path="common/ai_templates"

dependencies={
"Kaiserreich"
"Kaiserreich Dev Build"
}
It works with Kaiserreich flawlessly. No more 18w spam, no more militia spam, but solid 12-2 divs.

If you have problems like "smth is wrong with downloaded archive", copy "common" folder from this mod to any cosmetic mod that works properly and you will have working mod without any warnings and errors.

This is just a template file, why it would not work? Just change the number in descriptor.mod file and you will be fine
