TESLA Industries: Atlas-M Escort Carrier

The Atlas-M Escort Carrier (6-slot) is an older, but very versitile design that makes use of 3 very large carrier docks in the center/rear detachable modular cargo bay that the older atlas design can carry. The cargo pod also includes an auxillary shield generator which greatly boosts the shield capacity for the ship making it more combat ready. Dispite not being as sutied for turret combat, the swarm of drones that this model can unleash is impressive for a ship of its size. The Atlas-M can act as a command ship of sorts for small scale operations giving fighter/drone support from a distance while the rest of the fleet gets up close and personal. The Atlas-M can also go into dangerous territory and mine/salvage with its drone swawrms very effectively.
