Backstory - After twenty years of CSAT and NATO going at each others throats; NATO and CSAT eventually broke into a full fledged war involving the entire world. The reason why everybody decided to join this war because the side that won the war would essentially rule the world. The US is the leader of NATO while Russia is the leader of CSAT. They both are very powerful, and very dangerous. The world is in a complete onslaught for the title ruler of the world. Right now CSAT has all of Asia and part of Europe while NATO has North and South America, parts of Africa, and the other of part of Europe. CSAT has takened control of Germany and any surrounding countries. NATO is doing their best, but CSAT just isn't budging. It seems hopeless for NATO until they decided to break a global rule. NATO released a biological super weapon that covered all of CSAT controlled countries including Namalsk. NATO realized what they did was a absolutely horrible thing to do because most of the casualties caused by this biological weapon is civilians. NATO and CSAT decided to join forces because CSAT knew that they couldn't deal with this problem by themselves and NATO felt horrible for what they did. They soon realized that this biological weapon was stronger than they ever expected. While the chemical weapon kept spreading both sides started to panic. They were only left with one option; cleanse the infected areas. Which means basically bomb all of the infected areas not leaving any survivors to ensure the survival of the human race.

When playing multiplayer don't choose the rifleman group leader(the top one when you're choosing a charecter to play as) or the only opfor playable unit because you won't be able to spawn. It will say respawn disabled, and you won't be able to get into the game. Any other playable charecters in that menu are actually playable.

This map is about a group of people or a single person trying to escape the apocalyptic island of Namalsk. You will be facing bandits, zombies, and CSAT forces in your adventure through Namalsk. You must explore the island to collect food, water, and guns to be able to survive through this hell on earth.

This may be an escaping scenario, but I suggest you explore all over the map to gain the fullest experience of my scenario.

All blufor controlled areas(the Safe Zone, the Friendly Zone, Your Base, and the Ghille Zone) have units inside them. All of those blufor units are invincible because it could affect the first main mission and all side missions. So don't kill your teammates.

You will need Ravage for this mission. Ravage is a mod for Arma 3, but it's not on the steam workshop. There is a link to a video that shows you how to download ravage in my links below Required Items.

If you want more of a challenge then go check out Escaping Namalsk - Hard Start, or if you just want a bit more of a challenge then go check out Escaping Namalsk - Normal Start. The only thing different between all of these maps are what you start out with.

Just a little warning this map will be a laggy son of a gun because there are a lot of units down on the map when you first begin.
