Decieving sands (W.I.P)

Description
Welcome! Welcome to the desserts where the gods and sultans rule over the people where merchants are plenty and entertainment never runs out.

As of late the heating sun where Ra is the god off begun to disapear yet the sands still feel hot when walked upon. The sky has gotten a thicc sandy fog and people are getting worried!

A god called upon you to be his vessel and save the world from pending darkness (quite literally even think about those candle bills)

This Story currently contains:

- The intro
- A city to explore
- First part of the story
- The Arena
- Npc's roaming about
- The Sultans Palace

What is to be made

Dune area where the death roam and acient tressures can be found
A grand temple for the end game

How long will this little work in progress take: approximately 20/30 minutes
how difficult: I would say moderate challange nothing too crazy yet
Dafuq is that music?: somehow I found it fitting when I was making the city.

I would apriciate suggestions or even idea's ! like missions etc..

Hope you enjoy the first bit !

Hey benji

Thanks for the observations currently also adding ruins as you suggested.
Yhea i completly forgot to shut some stuff off I might put a bit more into the first dessert area but I intend to make the dunes the main area where quests happan and combat takes place.

Along with @Wasdstomp his advise i will work on said feedback

I liked the way you put this together, mostly, but it takes a long time to get to where the action starts. I would recommend putting a npc in the players way where the gameplay ends at the moment - or just put a barrier across the access to the dunes with sign that says NO ACCESS - YET or something similar.
I really liked your homebrews. What you could do, (it's time consuming) is put down a homebrew, edit it/repaint it a bit, put another one down and so on which gives you a lot of visual variety whilst still having, (as far as the quest system is concerned) 10, or how ever many of the same foe.
Good work. Keep it up.

Hey Wadstomp A lot of the current quests are being made in the ''Dune'' area after the palace this was mainly a setup for decor and ideas a lot of quest where for suggestion which I failed to state that not many are ready yet. The main action is being made at the moment sorry if I dissapointed you.

As for the grammar sorry I am not native so yhea grammar errors I will go over it again

Thank you for the feedback!

Okay I am confused with the 20 minute thing. I literally spent 30+ minutes in the dune area alone looking for the artififact. By the quest I was assuming lots of combat, but after walking from end to end of a full map it was just a bunch of empty space. If there is something down there than you need some kind of directional marker showing where to go. I know this says WIP, but if an area isn't complete for heaven's sake block that area off temporarily.

A real turn off for me are all the misspellings in the quests. I would list them, but it would take an hour to write down at least 50 of them. For someone who loves quests, and promotes about using lots of quests than I would make sure they were 100%. As a side note ALL CAPS in some of the quests is a huge no-no in my book.

The apple quest??? Really??? Where is the submersion? You literally have apples on the ground below palm trees. Why not paint the apples to look like coconuts? Coconut cream pie anyone?

How about, (I haven't played yet so maybe you have one already) a tomb in a ruined pyramid. See here:- http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/profiles/76561197975374682/screenshots/
