Midorishima

Midorishima (緑島(lit: Green Island)) is a sparsely populated island with a few rural settlements and a central, mountaintop Buddhist monastery. The small valleys provide choke points for a defensive general, but extensive boggy plains provide for a organised frontal assaults.

Backstory:
Foreigners have shipwrecked on the coast of Midorishima, seeing the natural bountry it provides, they wish to control it and subdue the populace.
