If the original author requests it, I will remove this update.

NOTE: 1.5 is end-of-life, out of date, and provided as a courtesy only.

Reworked; no longer requires XML Extensions

Will parse all Stony, Woody, Metallic stuff and create coins. Each coin is worth 10 percent of its stuff's market value.

See mod options for some (kinda half-baked) options. This includes setting gold coins as silver - literally, brute force. I have no idea what kind of knock-on effects may occur, good luck! Keep me posted!

Compatible with "Simple FX: Shinies (Continued)" - see mod option to allow stone coins to shine

Compatible with "Medieval Overhaul"

Issue: Coins not storable on shelves - fixed in 1.6 (1.5 unfortunately is end-of-life)

Original mod notes (1.4):

Ever wanted to be able to craft your own coins? Say no more!
Adds the ability to make coins to the game which act as functional props of sorts, now with styles!
Does not replace Silver as primary Currency.

Mod Basis - Saiphe
Coining Mill Textures (Placeholder) - Medieval Overhaul

can i use the coins to pay for empire settlement stuff?
Hazel 20 Jul @ 7:52pm
i've seen it go from a bit above 1, then to 0.98-0.96. now after making my trading person a merchant through ideo to get a 10% trade improvement, it's now at 0.88

Having a weird issue. the value of gold coins keep going down. it seems to be inversely effected by the social skill of the pawn or something. however another set of lower value coins is increasing value, i'm very confused by this i've never seen an item go down in value like this

Thanks, the recipe is definitely applied to those tables also, and shouldn't be, I'm going to fix that right now and push an update so the coin mill is the only one that can make it.

I found why my coins were named strangely, it's because they can also be crafted from a Machining Table before the tech is researched. Once the proper coin mill is unlocked and used, the names are no longer strange or oddly colored. Seems there two trees of coins available atm.

Oh! Okay, I'll just keep uncommenting it if needed; for me, it only shows the gold coins I have and no other coins, but that might be the togglable readouts mod (i never play unmodded so I don't know lol)
Zaljerem  [author] 19 Jul @ 9:57am
Feels like I should make that a mod option.
Zaljerem  [author] 19 Jul @ 9:57am
Wait, I remember. I pulled that because now that I'm programmatically generating coins, it could end up being ... a lot of coins, lol. I thought it cluttered the readout.
T 19 Jul @ 9:54am
sorry, yes, I was asking if there is a reason it's commented out; uncommenting lead to the coins being in the readout, but I don't know if there was some reason that it was commented out
thanks for the quick replies!
Zaljerem  [author] 19 Jul @ 9:15am
That is commented out, that's what the <!-- and --> do.
