Not only is the game still horribly unbalanced and full of legit gamebreaking glitches, Bandai Namco has the sheer audacity of adding more ways to ask for money, this time pushing the limits of how little effort someone can put into developing content for a game and still charge for it. The state in which this game launched and got updated in the first 3 months since then is absolutely ridiculous, an online mode that has countless issues (no punishment for intentional disconnects, DC rate % not working when it was present in the previous game for 5+ years, overall inconsistent connections regardless of internet speed or distance between both players, random "server maintenance" and "timed out" disconnects, forced 2/3 matches even in non ranked modes, terrible ranked system) , an unbalanced mess of a game that keeps getting more and more broken with every update (at this point i'm fully convinced no one in the dev team knows how their game works and are just pulling balance changes from a hat) , microtransactions up the wazoo, the list goes on and on and on and on...
In general, the game is a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥, the team had almost a decade to learn from Tekken 7, and we still got not only old issues that weren't fixed, but also new ones, fantastic job overall.

I would not recommend this game to anyone, regardless of how big of a Tekken fan they are.
