Absolutely recommend this for star wars fans or even fans that like battlefield/third person shooters to venture out into something new yet similar.

The game features single player in the forms of campaign (story) as well as offline multiplayer with ready tailored game modes against bots or arcade mode with custom settings to suit your style and game mode of preference. I'll be honest and say the story is quite lackluster and even though it's short, still felt like a drag with how boring and unimportant it feels to the star wars lore. Though it won't hurt to try just to get a feel of the gameplay and admire the stunning graphics that has aged well.

Online multiplayer is definitely the main attraction with more options available in content and some exclusive online only game modes. Gameplay feels good for the most part and once you get used to the various abilities/star cards of the soldier types its easy to get into the action. Playing as heros (especially saber wielding ones) can be a learning curve process, but feel very balanced and rewarding. You can lay havoc as a jedi/sith on a streak, or become absolutely obliterated with skilled soldier players melting you in no time. The community for the most part is friendly and welcoming especially to new comers or low level players and there aren't a lot of hackers in my experience.


Overall:
I would highly recommend this game for star wars and non star wars fans alike with how fun and well done the multiplayer is, it comes bundled with a lot of post launch dlcs + pre unlocked gear/characters and you will easily invest plenty of hours in it. Be sure to grab this game on a special sale as it can be listed under $5-10
