It has an amazing sense of imagination, adventure, story-telling, personality, design, and cinematography.
Yes it's a bit old so it has a few rough edges, but it's brilliant anyway.

Combat and jumping around bits remind me of old God of War games , in a great way. Co op bits remind me of the old Resident Evil 4. Variety and story-integration remind me of the 2018 Tomb Raider.

One warning , though. I did lose my saved game- so be careful to always be online, and stay online for a minute after you close the game.

If you can handle some very cheesey and teenage=centric dialogues, you will discover some brilliantly unique and wonderfully engaging combat/ puzzle gameplay.
U gotra really understand all thats going on before its enjoyable combat, though.
If you love games that combine puzzle and combat action, you gotta try it. I wish it had some DLC or a sequel.

One of my favourite games of all time. I wanted a puzzle game which was unique, interesting, had plenty of depth, and was entertaining and fun.
Story cut-scenes are very Disney, but also very charming.
It's crazy how an truly brilliant game like this doesn't have millions of rave reviews. I would LOVE to see a sequel.
I do recommend playing on a larger screen if possible.
My one complaint is that it's sometimes distracting when you wanna enjoy the combat action at the same time a juggling gems!

I love the concept, love the gameplay, LOVE the feel good music. Its a perfect game for just having fun and relaxing and feeling happy vibes.
I would love the see a sequel, but much less kiddie art style- how about a dark psycho medieval or cyberpunk, and lots of nasty violence?!!

Excellent example of how to make a retro game with just the right amount of modern tweaks. I feel like I'm 16 again, enjoying a new brilliant game on a sega megadrive, but it's MUCH better.

Blends enjoyable controls reminiscent of early Castlevania, and some gameplay flow and boss fights reminiscent of Metal Slug. Set in a really entertaining world.

Only done the first area, and I've noticed loads of creative effort having gone into stuff going on in the background.

Let's have a sequel, please!!!!!

Great game. Super art style and generally very original and witty. Most important of all- very satisfyingly violent. Cool music.
Two things i wish the Devs would change- Make the combat screen less cluttered and easier/ more time to read all the damage/effects result/score information, and the speech bubbles in camping are way too momentarily short to read, let alone enjoy reading.
Why not have the option to view the combat feld a bit more top-down?

Wonderful retro graphics and animations. Great sound design. Super turn based thoughtful yet quite high paced-feeling gameplay. A real charming gem. Sequel please!!!!

It's a really fantastic game. Wonderfully retro and atmospheric adventure with great turn based combat. I do recommend you play on "heroine" difficulty as soon as you feel ready, because this difficulty forces you to understand all the tricks that make the combat great.
However, I, personally think it needs a dedicated training/ tutorial mode to explain the combat system. And I would like more information available on screen during combat about weapon and damage stats and stun chance etc.
I would love a DLC or sequel.

Very violent, very fast, superb graphics and sound, very creative, and original. The slow down mechanic works wonderfully, and the shotguns r great fun to use.
