The real GOTY 2024

This game is an amazing experience that drew me in right from the start. The visuals are absolutely stunning, and the story is beautiful, filled with amazing characters. Clive is an incredible protagonist (and his VA, Ben Starr, absolutely killed it). The rest of the characters are just as great, I loved everyone, from their designs and backstories to the way their relationships with each other developed. That said, I was really disappointed that the character who was quickly becoming my favorite got killed off so early, it felt like such a waste.

The boss fights are EPIC. Hands down the best part of the game. The combat system is really fun, and the music is just spectacular.

Exploration feels pretty lacking, and the side quests are repetitive. Still, I enjoyed most of them, since they add more depth to the world and the characters.

The "bad"? No elemental damage type, no status effects, no damaging items, no variability in weapon type and no minigames. Nothing that ruined my experience but worth mentioning.

A 16-minute game that portrays the struggles of living with chronic illness/pain and the difficulty of getting a diagnosis. Simple, accurate, and realistic.

This new game has an amazing soundtrack, a cool new power, and an interesting story.
I loved the first four chapters, but the last one… not so much, it was disappointing. There were so many plot holes and unanswered questions; important aspects of the story, as well as little details, aren’t explained well and feel inconsistent, which is pretty frustrating.

A lot of people didn’t like what they did with Chloe, but I’m kind of in the middle. I LOVE her, and I’d definitely rather she was in the game, happy and with Max, but I also think the direction they took was realistic and made sense, even if it wasn’t what most of us wanted.

Unlike the other Life is Strange games where I teared up or felt deeply moved, this one lacked the sadness and emotional weight. There were a few shocking moments, and several scenes made me laugh (oh how I love Max's dad jokes and awkwardness), but overall, it lacked the emotional punch they always have.

The choices didn’t feel like they mattered much, but I need to replay it and make different choices to see for myself if there’s actually much difference.

Even though it’s nowhere near perfect, and I’m not sure how I feel about the direction they’re taking, I’m really happy to see Max again and excited for the sequel, I choose to keep my hopes up <3

The graphics are amazing, the combat is really fun, and the music is incredible.

Unfortunately, what I usually love most about the series is the story and this one didn’t catch my interest at all. It’s too confusing and not interesting enough for me to bother looking it up to understand it better.

The characters look cool, but other than that are either forgettable or annoying (especially Vanille, what an insufferable character)

Super linear, which didn't really bother me, but I love exploring and that isn't an option here.

I wouldn't say it's bad, but it's not good either. No interesting or memorable characters or story. It bored me, and it only lasts 6 minutes

Although I understand the negative reviews, I think it comes down to how seriously you're taking the game and its story. Personally I really enjoyed it.

The plot is entertaining and the art is good. My only complain is that there's no auto option. Also the music is repetitive and changes abruptly which could be annoying to some (but to me it was kinda funny)
Not worth full price though.

The game says "short novel" but I didn't think it would last literally 10 minutes.. I liked it, it's really cute

the game lasts less than 10 minutes but it was more than enough time to smack, kiss and get married to a hot clown demon great game
