Ever since 2020, I've had problems with bots and cheaters in-game. Some friends have told me that they've seen cheaters since 2018. It's now 2024, and I've seen more and more bots infest TF2's servers. This is a product of Valve, the company that runs Steam to begin with. They clearly give TF2 some thought with constant cosmetic and map updates, but not enough thought to fix the glaring bot/cheater issue. I've also seen complaints about hackers since 2016, so that means we, TF2's playerbase, have had issues with these cheaters for 8 years. Nearly a decade. Now, I don't care if TF2 doesn't have another major content update or if Valve keeps giving us seasonal item crates; many other people and I want a fix to TF2's security and cheater problems.
