about 130 hours in, it took a lot more exploring to master than PC1, but it's worth the time IMO.
I've experienced zero crashes or issues.
I have noticed that a vast majority of bad reviews are from people who have spent less than 30 hours on the game- there is a LOT to master and that's why i didn't review sooner. It took a lot of trial and error, starting over and deleting saves to get it right.
This really goes for all games- ignore reviews from people with a limited number of hours on the game because they've given up and blamed the game for their own inability to master it.

I don't particularly like it but my kids love it so it gets the thumbs up.

It is what it is. I still think Aoe3 is better.

indepth for EA and has potential.

Played over 500 hours on xbox before i had steam, and several playthroughs since buying on steam. It remains one of my favourite excuses to not get any actual work done :)

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this game. It's like if frostpunk management style, anno CB style and AOM had a baby with tentacles. Priced right, too. Definitely a winner all round.

It's not a city builder as it basically creates itself, you just plonk down some buildings and upgrade things, and then press 2 speed and wait and its over. It leaves very little in control of the player. i'm sure it's got a target audience, but it certainly doesn't scratch the city building itch in the slightest. Refunded. Will revisit after full release.

Got this for for my kids to play for chore reward, and i didn't expect much because it was free (not sure why?, maybe some promo), and they absolutely love it! I've even had a go. Its a lovely story, nice aesthetics and relaxing to play.

On PC I've only played 2 hours, but on console i played about 300 hours and many play throughs. I love this game, its a classic nostalgic anxiety inducing frustration fest for the kid in you.

Do you want to require therapy after playing a "city builder"? Do you want to get so mad at having to start again that you just cant bring yourself to quit? do you want a game that provides hours of unending existential crisis? Then this is the game for you!
