I can't say I've played many visual novels but I can say I have read many stories and this has to be one of the most tragic and gut-wrenching but also beautiful stories I've experienced. the creator did an amazing job at constantly adding twists and just when you think things can't get worse they always do. the art is also phenomenal, straddling the anime style and a more realistic, hard-shaded one. The tone of this game is dark and full of mystery and I am so glad I finally picked it up and played it. I cannot recommend this game enough, just know that you should brace your heart and mind for the journey ahead.
