Out of all the Resident Evil games including the remakes and sequels, this is the clear winner. I don't think Capcom can ever peak this level ever again because of its fantastic gameplay, compared to its prequels which had fixed camera angles and no proper aiming; one of the coolest video game protagonists of all time who delivers quirky lines; lovable antagonists who're not just comic book evil as they have their own motivations to pursue; and a fresh setting which you don't see in the prequels as they take place in cities. This game begins in the middle of the bumf8ck nowhere village where the locals speak Spanish.

Another thing I would to put in the review is the movement of the game. It may feel kinda jarring @ first, but after investing some hours you'll get used to it. Also, the tank like controls build quite a lot of tension within the player when surrounded by ganados and other such abonimations, which I think is a great decision made by the developers. Although, I can't praise the devs for making this mechanic where you can reload your only while aiming, which is bulls6it in my opinion.

Also, there's a lot of content in this game compared to the price that you pay for. There's 2 dlc's which delves deep into the story which unlocks new weapons, an arena mode which unlocks new characters that the players can play with, a shooting range which rewards with bottle caps that allow you to see the character models of different characters and more. Even though I'm not too familiar with the RE franchise as I played only RE2 Remake, which wasn't that great I can definitely say Resident Evil 4 is a good title to start your journey into the RE Franchise.
