Had a very rough start with issues that were already fixed in previous FatShark titles. It isn't perfect and still has many aspects which could be better such as the crafting system and certain weapon balance. It continues to receive updates/fixes and new content on a semi regular basis. One of if not the best horde shooter/"Tide" game I've played. Plenty of different classes and play-styles for any player that wants to add their own personal flair to how they approach combat. Satisfying and visceral combat, a truly spot on atmosphere, and a soundtrack that I would rank as one of my top ten video game soundtracks of all time. If you enjoy a frantic and sometimes overwhelming fight through the innards of a 40K hive city, smiting heretics and abhumans, Warhammer 40K: Darktide has that and more.
