I got this through Meta.
Last ive seen they kinda abandoned this game.
I havent seen any new maps.
No new weapons.
No new challenges.
Its just repeating the same maps.
And once you get dual of the auto shotguns your pretty much done.

Solid Game but it lacks further development and refinement.

Immediately upon purchasing the game.
Go to the Game Settings - Disable Level Scaling.
You will thank me later.

I couldnt get past the controls.
They are far too clunky.
The water idea after i learned what that is is kinda lame.

The only thing i actually enjoyed during my very short time playing this.
The 3rd person outlook but bring you in for First Person Aim+Shoot.
I liked that idea.
That and the speed of this game is woof.
Walk like a snail.

I dont think this game is bad, but in my opinion the Demon hunter was my favorite character in D3.
Completely butchered the class in D4.
I have alittle over 1000 hours on Battle.net where i initially purchased this game.
While the campaign was out of this world fun and left it on a cliff hengar to build you up to the upcoming expansion.
The seasonal character aspect in ARPG's ive grown to old to continue to follow this method of gaming.
Nothing like putting alot of effort and work into a character just to have to start all over again from the beginning to be considered their method of fun.
I get creating a new character and putting a new step forward in effort.
But thats where i draw the line.

Lastly only thing i can say from what i hear is that this most recent expac was great i havent thought about putting the time and effort into buying it or creating a new seasonal character.

So worth the money but it wont last long entertainment wise.

A blinding flame + Scar of the Earth are literally the best tracks to play with other games.
Cant find a bad song either in this entire collection.

Personal Pros -
No loading screens you just teleport and the game materializes other players around you.
Epic Graphics at 3840 x 2160 get a guaranteed 60 fps not at boss content vs 45 fps at boss content - feels very smooth still even with the drop.
Combat feels smooth after getting used to the control's i prefer controller over keyboard in this one for some reason.
People are saying pay to win - but i haven't seen one thing in the shop that is pay to win - you run around the map collect these coins those coins in game you earn by completing codex missions and finding books. Which you can use on upgrading your gear but its earned in game i don't see the complaint there and its limited monthly as to how many you can buy so other comments need to get off their high horse.
Mounting system is great i like morphing into a monster to run rather than having to mount up it was very seamless.
Dungeons are pretty cool i enjoy how they play and look.

Personal Cons -
You cant craft blue gear at this time - There is no blue ink to make the blue gear your only way to get it is drops or the armor codex that basically you exchange green crafted gear to turn it blue - cant remember its name off the top of my head.
Caves weren't respawning enemies yesterday - the whole map all caves had no enemies in them to farm don't know whats going on there but that needs to be fixed ASAP.
PVPVE Conflict Bosses - This is rather annoying there are peaceful bosses and then PVPVE bosses where its just getting wrecked by guilds.
World bosses loot doesn't drop for you - You get a (contribution) Chest at the end of beating the boss but the boss only drops a few items which go to the better players so you spend 45 minutes wasting time.
A lot of these blue codex quests are rather annoying being time gated or doesn't explain very much. I get having to read but the time gated aspect of it was rather annoying.
Matchmaking dungeons is pointless - nobody is matching for dungeons everyone's being stingy based on gear score and what your running - I've been setting mine up to be join immediately to avoid that hassle of dealing with stingy people.
Community has been rather toxic out in the open world i get it its a PVPVE game but people are just toxic from the games rip.
lack of loot - your getting a lot of crafting materials you cant do anything with cause you cant craft blue gear so your stuck in this loop of nothingness.
Contract missions for contact coins - don't come back your forced to hope you get a scroll that gives you more contract missions which are rather annoying because its apart of the battle pass to progress with it.
Dungeon missions are actually pretty small i was hoping for them to be longer but i still got the 40 and 50 dungeons to get to.

My Biggest complaint is the shop. - Everything is priced to force you to buy more. Lets take for instance lets say - For $10 = 500 of their coins - $20 is = 1125 which they give you a little boost - But hey heres the only cosmetic in game besides spending $100 at 1425 currency which is roughly $28- $30 either forces you to buy the $50 pack or 2 separate transactions for the cosmetic - Its atrocious to think you cant have something priced reasonable within to get more people to buy it no you gotta be greedy.

the games new - i'm not going to complain to much there's still a lot for me to do in game.
I've recently hit like level 44 which took me 4 ish days wasn't too bad to get close to the level cap of 50.
I spent money on the battle pass but other then that i prolly wont spend anymore money on this game for cosmetics i'm not about supporting that level of greed.

Ill still recommend the game - its free - But in my opinion save your pocket we gotta hold some accountability with greedy developers and marketing strategies.

So im on the fritz with this one.
Im trying not to compare it to other games but its so difficult not to.
The original trailer i saw for this game looks and feels so much more different than actually playing this game.

They took an RPG Element - Of having to go learn and figure everything out where as - I spawned in and was like what the hell is everything? None of this made sense its not Elden Ring you could have some sort of explanation and tutorial for the beginning rather than here ya go figure it out.
So there i go - Oh a portal lets go through that.

Then it was just difficulty based survival with loads of empty zones.
And the only difficulty i really faced from the beginning was walking into a heavy infested area and its just more of the same enemies that like to teleport behind you which was the only difficulty.
Was last man standing at that point and i found it to be challenging but that was the only difficulty to it.

Then its like okay you cleared all areas and in the center is a room with Gnosis stuff okay so whats the icon there for is there a boss what am i doing wrong so then you gotta go out and figure all that out.

Oh cool you got a new map okay great lets see what they have going on here.
And just a repeat of the same thing it didnt really seem to user friendly.
Like you spent all day developing something youd understand but nobody else would?

I dont really wanna recommend this but ive only given it 1.1 hours at this point and that felt like a waste of time it was so unrewarding.

Theres typically a risk vs rewards which makes a game entertaining and this game theres a huge risk in losing your rewards that didnt make it feel enjoyable.

Will update this review if i play it more and find my inital 1.1 hours was not far enough into the game to go - yeah this is a good game.

But at this time - Its hard to want to turn it back on.

Darktide walked - So Space Marine 2 could RUN!
Even when you go below 60fps you can barely notice it because its just so smooth.

Know what at that moment i was getting bored of other games and just wanted a simple - Hack and Slash looter. I came across this gem on sale for $2.99. Bout it for all my other friends too and its great.

It took me 67 runs to get the Ultimate Bunny Code.
On a 6% chance i still feel it shouldn't have taken that long.
RNG is real in this game - Used to be fun but that dies dont quickly.
Was hoping for our first RAID - But they came out with lame solo dungeon enchancements.
All my friends quit after we found out there wasnt going to be a raid.

Holding out hopes but wont come back.
