i have not played the second, but the first dying light is a very solid game, I recommend it. it is probably the best open world surival zombie game out there. enemy variety, decent story and worldbuilding, and very satisfying combat and movement from parkour. it's primarily a single player game though, it's the same kind of zombie game as left for dead, different genre. absolutely beautiful too. watch out though, for some reason it has VAC (no idea why) so don't try editing your save, even if you are playing single player
