Pretty self explanatory. Unfortunately, man boobs do not count ://. Also, this is moreso find 100 hidden female presenting nipples rather than boobs because there are a lot of women with boobs but no nips :/. At least there is a hint button around the 90th mark to help you find them all.

So obviously this is a game about depression. Although the game looks a bit rough around the edges regarding the ''art style'', it actually fits in quite well with the theme of the game. Unfortunately, the jittery animation really prevents me from fully appreciating this game as I felt nauseous while playing it. Even though there is an option to turn off the animation, it only applies to the text and not the drawings themselves. It'd be great if there was an option to turn those off as well as even when I turned the text animation off, I still felt sick.

Honestly this is probably the first review I'm going to give a downvote for. Really didn't expect much out of this but the amount of bugs is kinda insane. When you try to save the game, it just completely crashes. The image gallery is completely broken and nothing appears. Assets either appear in places their not supposed too or overlap other images..

As for the ''story'' it's just kinda what you get with these games. The game is just made for the sex scenes really and nothing else. The last route (aka the true route) vaguely tries to insert some kind of supernatural theme that really doesn't mesh well with the other parts of the story. Also why the f*ck does this game end with a cliffhanger? Unless the developers are planning some kind of sequel, it just came out of nowhere.

Overall, even if you plan to stream or just get this game for the funnies, with the amount of f*cking game breaking bugs it's really not worth it. And as of the writing of this review, they haven't been fixed. If you want a better hentai experience just play something like Huniepop where you can tell that the devs actually put in some semblance of effort. (That game is also surprisingly challenging).

Also this game is way too expensive (even on discount) with what you get and it should just be free with the amount of bugs in it.

Insane this game is only 33mbs, genuinely a really solid experience, pixel art is beautiful, controls are really tight, and exploring feels fantastic. If you like games such as Hollow Knight and Rain World, I cannot recommend this enough. Easily one of my favorite games I've played this year.

Please just play this game and give the developer support. Honestly I'm surprised it doesn't have a lot of attention considering the high quality for a free game. It's a infinitely better to just go in blind.

This game is basically DDLC but with the artstyle of Needy Streamer Overload and drop of Undertale (combat wise). These elements make for just about enough differences to make it it's own thing. Unlike DDLC though, this game is much shorter and lacks the proper build up for a truly scary experience. I think if this game was longer, it would feel more developed as the spooky stuff is in your face after like the 1st date. I believe this game was made for a game jam though so honestly the shortness of it makes sense. Despite this, the game is still relatively fun and has enough to differentiate itself from games like DDLC. Though it is VERY clear that this game is directly inspired from DDLC.

So this game is definitely interesting. I wouldn't even call this game a "parody" of dating simulator games. The problem I have with this game is that it's DDLC but without any of the proper build up. The whole first half of the game is just the protagonist (not you, the girl) breaking the fourth wall and commentating about visual novels. She's aware that she's just a character in a "visual novel game". This is basically her entire personality which starts to get stale after a while. The second half is pretty much the same except for the fact that the second character has a slightly more interesting trope based attitude.

But it's like as I said earlier, it's hard to actually get attached to any of the characters in REFLEXIA Prototype ver. mainly because there's nothing about the characters that makes you like them in any way outside of their fourth wall awareness. This game isn't even remotely scary and the psychological horror tag is being applied VERY loosely here.

All in all, without any spoilers, this game has a lot of ideas but falls flat on executing any of them. I also have a bit of an issue with the text at times as well. I understand that the dialogue goes too fast on purpose sometimes, but this happens too much for any of it to leave an impact on me. Not to mention, the text itself is hard to see. White text on a white background strains my eyes. Also, I'm not sure if this was a translation error but sometimes text would repeat itself and sentences would be worded weirdly.

Now why am I giving this game a recommend despite it's flaws? Well mainly because I think the presentation of the game is very good. I think the choice of the black and white color scheme is very interesting. It immediately makes the player feel uneasy. I also like the fact that it starts with only the "protagonist" staring at you. The choices of hello in the beginning give the game a very good unsettling atmosphere. You know at first glance that something is wrong. I think there's definitely some good concepts here. (This game is also free so there's that).

I am also aware that the developer themselves know about some of these flaws as a remake is in the works. For the developer themselves, I just wanted to add, please do not get discouraged by my review. I can see that there's a genuinely good concept here that just needs a little more time to cultivate. I can see the love and effort you've put into this game and I hope the remake comes out well. Despite the flaws of this game, i still enjoyed my time playing it.

Really short 20 - 30 minute experience. While Clap Clap isn't very scary, it does a decent job of making the atmosphere tense. Besides that, I really enjoyed the clapping mechanic that was introduced. It's quite unique for a horror game and something I haven't seen before. I'm looking forward to seeing what other games the dev has in store.

A quick note before we begin: Jishogi is NOT a horror rpg game like Mad Father or Ib. While the game does present dark themes, these themes are not used in a way that is meant to scare players in a traditional sense.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jishogi is an interesting game. The problem with Jishogi is that it's trying to cater to two types of audiences that don't (in my opinion) mesh well together. The gameplay centers around chess and shogi. For the unaware, shogi is a Japanese game that like chess, is held at a competitive level. You DO NOT need to know how to play shogi in order to play this game. While it would be helpful, the gameplay itself does not require you to know the ins and outs of either shogi OR chess. You basically just click on pieces and send them in the direction that the arrow is pointing. Your goal is to capture all pieces on the other side. It's a pretty simple concept but can get VERY challenging later on, ESPECIALLY in the second half of the game.

And it's this challenge that makes Jishogi seem jarring compared to its Visual Novel aesthetic. Cause you see, Jishogi is both part strategy and part Visual Novel. The story of Jishogi (in my opinion) is its strongest point. I really enjoyed the story. And while I did appreciate the gameplay, the complexity of the puzzles and the way they functioned just didn't work for me (and I assume the same goes for many others). If you're a VN player and just want to enjoy the story, then unfortunately you're gonna have to play the puzzles. If your a hardcore strategist, then you may not be interested in the story at all.

Just to clarify, I am NOT saying that strategy and VN's don't work well together. What I am saying is that the difficulty of the game is a such a large curve that it can hamper the experience for some players. (And yes there is an easy mode, though even easy mode can still be quite challenging at times). This difficulty also presents some pacing problems as one moment, you're learning about something important and then the next, you’re stuck on a puzzle for 2 hours just trying to capture another piece. Compare this to other rpg maker games, where at least the gameplay feels more interactive with the story. Like when your character has to move places or interact with the environment in order to solve puzzles as seen in games such as OneShot or To the Moon. Although shogi and chess are thematically part of this game, the gameplay itself does not lend to a more interactive experience with the characters. Like I think it would've been cool if there was something that tied both shogi and chess together. Maybe a showdown between Mayu and Fifield using their representative games? Don't know how that would work but just a suggestion. Thankfully, there is a skip feature that allows for players like me to enjoy the story without the stress of the gameplay and I am grateful that the developer decided to leave this in.

Speaking of story, I find it to be very well written. It is a bit confusing at first but when things are finally revealed, it feels very satisfying. Although the plot feels a bit contrived in the way its presented, the characters themselves feel like very real people. They have relatable flaws and weaknesses but also many strengths. Ultimately, the themes of selfishness, morality, choices, and forgiveness are at the center of this game and are all messily tied (in a good way) at the ending.

One gripe I did have with the storytelling though is that much of the lore presented in this game is unfortunately told in long winded word exposition you find in books. While I don't hate this kind of "encyclopedia" storytelling, I'd much rather experience the lore though the characters and story rather than having it spelled out for me in writing. Some of the exposition seems unnecessary and makes the books feel very wordy and otherwise bloated. You could probably cut out half of it and you still wouldn't miss much.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All in all, you’re probably wondering, do I recommend this game? And my answer to that is... it depends.

Because in all seriousness, Jishogi truly is unique in the world of rpg maker games. I can't think of a single game that replicates the style of gameplay seen in this one. The closest games I could say that are "vaguely" similar would be OneShot (or any rpg maker puzzle game in terms of style). And even then I'm stretching it a bit. So, if you like traditional rpg maker puzzle games then yes, I would recommend, but I say this VERY lightly. As the challenging nature of the gameplay may turn players away.

On the other hand, if you like strategy games like chess or shogi (or similar) then yeah I'd recommend it. The story would just be supplemental regardless of whether you like it or not.

Just a note, despite my review of the game, I can definitely tell that the creator put a lot of love and hard work into this. I’ve quite enjoyed my time with it so here’s my final say.

Keeping what I said in mind earlier, I’d definitely recommend at least giving it a try if you like any aspect of rpg maker games or strategy/puzzle games in general. You might vibe with it, you might not, but for the price it’s not too bad and who knows, you might be pleasantly surprised in the end.

Very short and cute game. Unfortunately it suffers from a lot of repetitiveness when attaining certain endings. Follows a boy named Willie who's stuck in a time loop of confessing to his crush. Would only recommend if you're into rpg maker games such as LiEat or Alicemare.

Really interesting and dark point and click VN. It's pretty short but its well worth your time. I found the story to be intriguing and the author did a great job of setting up the mystery. The abstract imagery and dark color scheme really make this VN stand out from the rest. If you enjoy games such as Milk outside a bag of milk, outside a bag of milk or its predecessor Milk inside a bag of milk, inside a bag of milk then you will definitively have a good time with this.
