I sit at the window, staring down at all the people passing by. So many souls moving on with their lives, going from this place to that. Do they know I'm watching them? Can they feel the melancholy that clings to me, memories of moments lost, happiness slipping through my fingers as I sit here? It's strange when you think about it. Life doesn't seem to care, and like time it always takes takes and takes. Where does one life matter when staring at all the lives down below?

Where does one's happiness outweigh all the others?

In the end I feel insignificant without them. A small ant like those scurrying below. No one cares about their lives. No one cares about mine either.
