My PC died so I can't play RE4 Remake or any other graphics intensive games anymore, for now. Glad I still have my 5 year old laptop that can play this kind of game with no problem.

This game is amazing, and why not? Jill's butt maybe absent from this game but she is a yummy sandwich.

Basically the same feeling as Arcade and M.A.M.E but with enhanced features, with no option to save state which is good. You can select difficulty from level 1 to 7, but core mechanics are the same. One good addition is the option to hold the fire button for continuous shoot for regular attack, and a separate button for regular shooting mode with option to hold for special attack. Furthermore, a lot of options are added: you can adjust the display, change buttons assignment, upload your score online for rankings, change the UI, and much more.

I haven't beat the game on Normal difficulty, I started at level 1 for warm up. This game is a must buy if you wanna go back to nostalgic feeling of arcade days, but this time, with enhanced version and achievements to unlock.

Separate Ways is separate pay.

Edit: Steam is begging me to revise my review. The game is great, and the remake is hundred miles better than RE2 and much more than RE3. Capcom is doing their job well this time. I am sure that future remakes will be much much better.

Still at Chapter 3 at the moment of this writing, so I can't say a lot for now.

This game is 1 million lightyears way ahead of its time and I'm asking myself why I spent 1.6k hrs in Tekken 7 instead of playing this masterpiece way sooner, on Android emulator while I'm working in Southern Africa as a researcher for counter-bioterrorism.

I just wish Luis has more time in-game and cutscenes tho.

Ada x Leon reunion is a nice touch.

Ashley is too bad for a leading lady I would prefer Rebecca instead.

This game is my advanced Christmas present to myself. I regret not playing it earlier, coz RE fans are saying this game sucks. I played it on Gamecube emulator and I'm almost in the end, and not even a single disappointment in each part of game mechanics. The inventory isn't that bad, which made me surprised coz I was expecting myself to quit playing after few mins but now I'm more than 10 hrs into the game (the Gamecube, not Steam). Controlling and swapping partners are really good, and that alone made me continue playing the game. While the puzzles and story doesn't makes sense, the cutscenes and music are good. Billy saving Rebecca several times are one of those good times, and Rebecca in return, out of gratitude, hide Billy from STARS members.

I can say this game is very much underrated in my opinion. After playing a classic fixed camera with tank controls RE game, I think of any modern RE as pale in comparison, for some reasons.

I might be biased but Rebecca is one of the reason I liked the game, but outside of that, I recommend this game coz it is really a masterpiece.

I bought this game thinking of refunding within 2 hours from purchase.

But I ended up liking it.

Remake shines thru better combat system, superb graphics, music and cinematics, but this game feels special in its own ways.

Not as good as the 1st Revelations but still okay.

Raid mode still kick ass but with dumb mechanics added such as evasion canceller and skills that can be passed to other characters (lol).

Overall still a good game for me.

The best Lara for me, great combination of innocence and inner strength . Every female protagonist nowadays acts like Wonder Woman trying to look tough.

So I give this game 10/10.

Just kidding.

1st run with her with no problem so far. Her melee (as supposed to be knife replacement) is very slow but pretty funny. She is like slapping those ooze monsters with love. You can press F6 whenever she got hit and she will say "it hurts!" lol

They say she has huge weapon penalty (among other things), but with Thunder Raptor lvl 48 with 2.73 fire rate isnt bad with her. I think I can breeze the whole ship pretty easily, but I will have to test it.

The only thing I hate about her is her dodge. Doing it is like having a death wish. I guess just running away is 2nd best option. Also, would be great if she has the tools exactly like the BOW counterpart, and walks exactly as Rachel Ooze does.

Want real challenge? Do a knife only would do the trick.

Overall, not a huge disappointment that I bought this lady.

Thanks to my friend who gave me this game, "I owe u one" (in Sheva's voice XD),, I never quite expected it.

Now I understand why this game has some negative reviews. With all honesty, there are elements that present in this game that are similar to what I have played before, like a seemingly never-ending enemy spawns (Tomb Raider for example).

The horror element is still there, it's just that the actions are dominant that it's almost overshadowed it.

Boss fights are meh, at least if I will compare it to other RE games like Revelations 1.

Coop is very fun. Nothing like a badass Sheva partner who guides a noobie like me.

Over all I can say it's 7/10, for now.
