Below I review the game Assemble with Care, explaining what I liked and didn't like with a few different components that are relevant to the game. Overall I think this is a nice indie game that I recommend grabbing ON SALE.

The Story-line (6/10)
The story in this game offers a sweet message with some nice takeaway's if you choose to listen. My problem with the story line is mainly surrounded by character introduction, with the exception of the mayors daughter as I felt her introduction and development was quite satisfying and I actually enjoyed it. It was a short story line which explains much of how the characters were introduced which typically went as this: 1) Hi I am XYZ 2) I know you do repairs because of XYZ 3) Here is my problem! 4) pls fix my stuff. I guess I would have liked learning about their life problems or lessons that would given to Maria at a slower pace, so that throughout the story things would piece together in a more satisfying way. Nonetheless, it is a cute story it just felt surface level.

The graphics 8/10
The art style of this game is beautiful and I loved how simple things looked yet so pretty and almost like paintings. The parts where Maria or the characters were talking I felt lacked a bit and they could have enhanced those parts with more visuals but the style itself was very very pretty.

The puzzle/game play component 8/10
Another nice aspect of the game is the simplicity of the mechanics, you could really just sit back and fiddle with the objects given to you. There are no instructions or a tutorial however, it is all relatively easy to figure out with some taking multiple tries.

Value 4/10
While it pains me to say this about an indie game, for 10$ I would expect the story or game play to be a bit more in depth, with my playtime being slightly under two hours I just would have liked a bit more out of the game which is why I would grab it on sale. If you have 10$ to throw around I do not think you will be angry at the game but for most I think the game is better at a lower price point.

Free game that does pretty good at simulating depression. Wish I got to know more about the character.

This game is incredible. It truly feels as if it's made for you, i didn't want it to end. If you are considering a game buy this one and go in blind, I love how they put elements of you into the game. Worth every penny and I hope more players get to love the game the way I did.
