Angeldust is an MMORPG mixed with a Sandbox Game. Combat in this game is just going outside of the village and killing any monsters you see for gold, gold allows you to buy new weapons and blocks, once you buy a block you can place it infinitely! This game has a fairly low player count from sunday to friday, but on saturdays the creator of the game, Frank, hosts a 1-4 hour livestream on YouTube, Twitch, and Steam. Whenever Frank does a stream many players will join him as they go out to hunt, chat, and visit other players creations. The further you travel, the higher level the enemies will get. The game also has PVP, which is nice.
I give the game a 7/10, it's pretty fun, but has a lot of room for improvement. I believe this game has a lot of potential! Do I think the game is worth the $2.99 price? Yes, because if it were free, there wouldn't be a way to fund the development of the game other than donations. It is crucial that it is a payed game because there are no DLCs, or in app purchases. Don't complain about the price, because the developers are pretty much forced into making it a payed game, if it was free, they wouldn't be able to afford to update the game nor run the servers. $2.99 is really cheap for a game anyways. This game used to be free, and I got it when it was, so that's how I received it for free.

It was a great game... theres no point in telling anyone about the game because you cant even play it, but hopefully it will come back someday.

Before you read this review please know that when you get the game you have to link your steam account to a byond account, then you can play.

If you're one of the struggling players trying to do this, all you need to do is make a byond account, then open the game, next logout and then login with your byond username and password and have the box that says "link steam ID" checked, then login and if you still get an error try relogging 2 more times and if that doesnt work then login with your steam username and password, if that doesnt work, then go to the byond help forums and ask for help, But what I just told you worked for me and I found it out myself.

Here's the review:

I really just love the nostalgic feel of this game, its really similar to Dragon Quest on the NES.
And the name of the game is telling you how it feels to play it.
The "NES" part of NEStalgia stands for "Nintendo Entertainment system" wich is a 40 year old console that played 8 bit games on BIG cartridges.
And the title sounds alot like the word: "Nostalgia" but the "o" is swapped to an "E"

Pros:

Very nostalgic.

Nostalgic graphics.

Nostalgic sounds.

Very fun and addicting.

The fun and challenge is well balanced.

Amazing soundtrack!

Worth the 10$ price.

Cons:

Very small playerbase, servers only have around 1 - 20 players each day (30 is quite rare)

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers are down, you can only rely on player made servers to have enough money to afford themselves, if there are none the game is unplayable until another public server comes up, or you could play on a local server (wich is a bit tricky)

Linking a byond account to steam is the hardest challenge you will ever have to deal with in your life! (unless you did what I told you at the start of the review) (In fact hundreds of people wasted 10$ because they couldent link there byond account to steam, so most of them refunded)

The player base is so low because only a quarter of the people who bought this game actually linked there byond account to steam.

The devs havent updated the game in a LONG time.

The devs havent hosted an event in YEARS.



But if you have some freinds tell them about the game and maybe play it with them. (It's lots of fun)

I rate it 8/10

I would have rated it 9.5/10 if the game was easier to access and had instead of 5 players online maybe around 50 players online.

Anyways, I hope you have fun in this game if you ever get it!

This game is HORRIBLE! IT STOLE THE CORE COMPONENTS OF THE GAME: "Growtopia"
Play growtopia instead! This game came out YEARS after growtopia and it COPIED Growtopia!
And the devs said "We got inspired by growtopia" The way growtopia works is 80% the same of the way pixel worlds works.
The reason the game is so popular is because the way growtopia works is very popular and Pixel worlds works the same way growtopia does! (I'm not talking about the games engine it was made on, or about the games performance.) SO, the devs made a game that works the same way to get it popular and make money! GREEDY Devs!

The game is great! With over 500 hours of playing YOU MUST GET THIS GAME!

Your goal: Climb a surreal mountain and make freinds along the way. After 30+ hours of playing: You Have Completed A Great Game. THIS IS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE I'M NOT KIDDING! If you see those other reviews saying: Refunded, or This game is so east and a waste of time and money, The people who wrote the reviews went insane because they got stuck in a easy section BECAUSE: It's self explainable, you'll find out when you get there and it takes like 7 minutes of gameplay to get there. The controls are nice *It takes like 5 mins to get the hand of it* and if you do a flip in the air your next jump will get a boost. To get clothes: When you level up you get clothes, You can wear them by accessing the "WARDROBE" in the pause menu or at the title screen. If you hate this game, you're probably raging or going bored. You are supposed to rage, Pogo stuck "RAGE" with your freinds/random people. Pogostucke in a NUTSHELL.

99% of this game is from the Unity Asset Store, and 1% from the devs... Great!
