I need help getting my friend to buy this game, please feel free to leave your feelings of pain and agony here

I just got the game and when I launch it the opening card will pop up and go away and then the game won't launch., I have tried the steps you told another person to do and nothing has worked. wanna play this with my friends but they are both on mac. Can this game be played on mac?

New problem I recently had today. My wired PS4 controller worked fine in the menus but when I unpause the game I have no control. I have played the game with a PS4 controller without problems before. Turning the steam configuration support on or off has no effect. The controller works fine in other games and even emulators. Any ideas?...

I'm 8 hours in, just hit 50% and fell back to 25 lol.
