It's a fun, relaxing game with plenty to keep you busy and a few ways to strategize depending on your game-play style. Great for folks like me who don't own mega-Chad computers.

I've had this game for years and enjoyed it. However, I recently returned to play and am disappointed in the updates - namely the Hiring. Even with a full crew of low clumsy, dishes continue to break so that I'm forced to purchase more over and over again. Continuous re-clicking just to find a decent Cook or Server isn't fun, either. Lastly, am stunned that nothing new in the way of decoration/wall/flooring has been added. Sad.

Having loads (and hours) of fun! Sure, it needs a tad more TLC to be 'perfect', but am satisfied with things as they are. Glad to know the dev team haven't abandoned this as speculated.

Really wanted to like and enjoy this "builder" type game but just can't. The game makes me feel stupid, which I probably am but still don't appreciate the constant reminder. The mechanics are simple and it was relatively easy to figure out alcoholics are the way to go in the slums because trying to renegotiate with anyone else is a useless waste of time and money (they low-ball you every time then refuse to negotiate further). My stats say I've made well over $5mil yet I'm always ju-ust shy of reaching the $12,000 in rent to advance. Lots of annoying glitches as well, but it IS a little funny to watch acrobatic renters sink through the floor, sail up to the ceiling, or moonwalk. It's also too repetitious for it to be an enjoyable let's play on Youtube, and having wasted my time these past few weeks makes me feel bad.

This is a rare opportunity for someone (like me) with a bottom-line PC to play and enjoy a causal gaming experience. It's easy to figure out if you are familiar with keyboard movements (I'm not) but also utilized the mouse, which is great. I'm glad they eased off on the Apocalypse aspect as that got dreary-boring pretty fast, and I think it's nice that the developers continue to monitor and update while also working to offer more in the way of game play and new items.
