Basicly RE4 but If It was In Africa. And If you replace Ashley with a competent companion.

Well where to begin. First off, Im not really an expert on the lore side when It comes to Mass Effect.

Now about the story/gameplay. Its really awesome to build your team and ship both In terms of loyalty and overall size. Second. There Is actual mining In this game where you can collect rare minerals that you need for some Important upgrades. There are loyalty missions that can be failed. Which totaly caught me off guard first time playing. Third. The story from the first one really dosent mater becaus: you get to know the new and remaining old crew Instantly; and Ashley gets mad at you becaus Shepard joined Cerberus (for some reason).

It feels awesome to work with Cerberus becaus they have money and resources. Also Its nice to report major operations to the Illusive Man. In Mass Effect 3 they totaly ruined the concept of working side by side with Cerberus, Instead they were made Into generic human villains. In Mass Effect 2 they were definetly neutral.

Shepards character can be good and bad. This Is Ingame known as "Renegade" and "Paragon". Renegade Is basicly scumbag Shepard and Paragon Is savior Shepard. This means you are given a choice during gameplay to perform certain dialouge options that can Impact the story of the game. Slightly. You can also romance with squadmates. That depends If Shepard Is male or female.

Well the gameplay Is nothing new. Third person shooter with squad based and cover based mechanics.

Most of the characters are well writen and acted. My personal favorites are Miranda, Garus and the Illusive Man. Ashley from Mass Effect 1 Is a ♥♥♥♥♥.

Now the graphics are quite good for Its time and the soundtrack Is still awesome. Some OST linked below
