It's more jokes and goofiness. Improves a lot of things over the first game but might have lost a tiny amount of the charm that the original had in the process, still fun as ****.

One of the most convoluted games I've got 100% achievements in but its still really enjoyable, I'd say it is the poorest of the dark souls trilogy although it is still a fromsoft game and therefore an automatic blast (given you try to ignore some the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this game).

This game is absolutely phenomenal and gets even more amazing with every update. funnily enough I had actually refunded it back when I first bought it as I had just thought it was an arcade style game and that the only thing that was saved were unlocked characters but god was I wrong there is so much depth to this game and so many things to do and unlock I love it and really recommend giving it a try.
