When they stopped supporting Linux and Mac, instead requiring both Windows and an Epic Games account, a clear statement was made: this was no longer a tool for bringing the thrill of camaradarie and collaboration to the masses; this was malware designed to profit off of anyone who dare dream of it.

The least the product listing of the injustice done to the working class deserves is a thumbs-down.

In a game that so beautifully and so fundamentally showcases the joy in teamwork, the opportunity to play online with arbitrary opponents anywhere in the world was such a wondrous utility for the masses. Access to a meaningfully different form of self expression -- expression of oneself through sport -- was allowed a people whose bodies exist to be ruthlessly exploited for profit.

That beautiful glimpse into human connection, currently afforded only those whose bodies are not already broken in convenience of their oppressors, was not lost to time. It was taken from us deliberately. That community was replaced by a clientele that exists to be manipulated and monetized for profit.
