I have a mixed feeling about hacking as a career. On one hand, it is fantastic in some ways (free money!) and others (being able to take someone's online life and use it for your own purposes, being able to be anonymous, etc.)
However, I have never actually done it because I feel too much pressure. How many sexual exploits can I do in a week, a month, or a lifetime? I feel like I should put a lot of thought into how I am going to be online. I don't want to be hacked. I like being alone. I don't like getting drunk. I don't want to do any of the things that someone like Google or Apple or Microsoft has to do with computer security (i.e., they hack into everyone else's computers just because they can).
Is hacking a good career?
