Well, after 240 hours in the game I think it is time for a review.

I didn't know what to expect from this game, I just hoped to have a good time playing it. Dusk led me to this masterpiece. Why do I think this game is so good?

Story, it's detailed enough to give you some context from the cutscenes.

The movement, it feels great, nothing to complain about it. It feels fast, you have control in mid-air after jump.

Arsenal, every weapon is useful in certain situations. If you think one weapon is weak and not worth using it then it surely is an option for other fights. Almost every weapon has a secondary fire which should not be underestimated.

Level design. Levels are not long in my opinion, find keys to open the doors, some keys will be dropped after a certain enemy is killed. There are tons of secrets and super secrets which gives you items. There are also secret levels.
The atmosphere is great. When you see dead bodies in left and right, gore on the floor and walls, churches occupied by cultists, graveyards from which some zombies can rise, dark pictures which illustrate demon-like creatures and a picture in particular changing gradually into something different if you pay enough attention, some of the levels have even the sky turned red and all of this accompanied by dark, evil and corrupted-like music (search Infuscomus for example to understand what I'm talking about) all this come together to make you understand that you are facing the Dark God and no being is safe in this world.

Enemies, a large variety of them. Some of them require a different approach because some of them will shoot you as soon as they see you. Certain enemies are weak to certain weapons, have fun experimenting.

Performance. I'm playing on a laptop with an I5 8250u, gtx 1050 4gb, 12gb ram, ssd (where the game is installed) and hdd. I'm having around 140 fps at 1080p on vulkan, I tried directx 11 and sometimes I get around 200 fps sometimes it drops under 30 fps, I don't know why this happens, it's probably just my laptop but vulkan for me is the way to go.

There are no checkpoints, you die, you start the level all over again with only the pitchfork so I recommend using the f2 quick save and f3 quick load, you make your checkpoints.

One more thing, If you'll play the game and love it you would love the Death Wish mod for Blood too. It's like a Blood 2.
